Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson managed to cut the ribbon at the Cool Planet Experience in the Powerscourt Estate, in Wicklow, despite the havoc caused by an unprecedented series of ferocious winter storms in Ireland. The world’s first interactive visitor centre dedicated to climate change was designed and built by Mark Leslie’s brilliant former colleagues, in DMW Creative, and Thought Different. They are hoping that a second much bigger centre might be built in somewhere with less snow, such as Dubai.
