The well known satirical broadcaster Oliver Callan enjoyed a sneak preview of the revamped Patrick Kavanagh Centre in Iniskeen in February.
Oliver was born and raised just across the road from the converted parish church. He is shown with the project Art Director John Raftery of Make Dot. Callan had contributed pitch-perfect readings. He also insisted that visitors should experience the weight of the plough required to battle with Monaghan’s ‘stony grey soil’.
